Mrs. Ellen Whitlock To All Instructors

My name is Ellen Whitlock, and I am so excited to be jumping on board with United!

I love Mexican food, ice-cream, and chocolate! My favorite animals are black bears! I
absolutely love going to Bearizona with my family! I could stare at the bears all day and not get bored.
We are defiantly mountain people and love Flagstaff vacations!

I met my amazing husband 18 years ago at Church. He played bass guitar in the worship band
and I knew after that he would be my husband someday. We have now been married almost 16
years, and we have 4 amazing boys together. Jayden (13), Jaxon (11), Jasper (9), and Jarrison (5).
We also have 2 cats, Smores and Taco. Being a mother is everything to me, which is why I am also
so passionate about homeschooling. We are a very busy and on the go family! My oldest son plays
Club Baseball, so we live at the baseball fields most evenings and weekends.

My youngest plays T-ball and I help coach his team. We love family movie nights, drawing, playing Legos, going to
baseball games, Church, and just spending time together.

I have been teaching preschool and pre-k for 18 years. I have always had a strong passion for
teaching and knew that even though I was closing my in-home preschool, I wanted to continue my
love for teaching. Which is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to work at United.

I have chosen topics that in the past 18 years my students have absolutely loved and that I have enjoyed teaching! I
truly thank God every day for this amazing life he has blessed me with!
